Not everyone is as coo coo as you nut job. And noone wants to help you out and carpool your kid to Redmond 4x a week.

What I don't have? It's pretty clear anyone can play ecnl. They don't exactly cut anyone and take everyone which is shown by their 25 person roster. When onyx is tougher to make than that lesser crossfire team... That says something. It also says something that 200 plus kids in that area won't drive 30 minutes for something you will drive 8 hours for.


There are some good Seattle area players on that team but they have to fill out the ranks with crAzies like you. Shown by only 1-2 kids and crAzy parents who think its going to get their kid to college from this area.

You post because noone listens to you and maybe just maybe you can get the magic number to 3 families so you don't have to drive so much.

Anger is the first tell that you re by yourself in keeping the crazy boat afloat.

I should let you know that this consolidation you speak of up there will probably send your kid packing back to where you came from. Then the FC coach is going to look at you and say no way crazy. For one, your kid didn't develop while sittin the bench up there and further more. We just don't want you to be near the team.

Onyx parent here: This person posting does not have a child on Onyx. This is likely the parent of a child that tried out and did not make the team so they are very angry and lashing out by trying to make our team look bad.

Oregon parents are the biggest idiotic soccer parent group in the US. When I think of soccer hotbeds I think of Texas, CA, Ohio, and some of the NE states. Maybe their parents have another forum to act foolish, but go and view other state's comments and they don't even have anything posted on Talking Soccer

Actually I have found Oregon soccer parents to be pretty mellow comparatively. Have you spent any time with socal soccer parents? You want crazy? Try LL or youth football or basketball. This is nothing.

I have to agree. And girls soccer parents get their panties in a bunch over the smallest things. I don't get it. It's girls soccer. The intensity is much less on the field but fiery as heck on the sidelines and in these forums.
