I mean sure, but to be fair (not the op) it really is the OPFC way, at the HS ages at least. Likely not the only club doing it but…

At the HS age group players are visiting colleges throughout the year (sometimes for soccer and sometimes not) or dealing with injuries. There are times when teams can barely roster games, so it’s all good. Nice try ripping on kids and families for no good reason other than to satiate your own insecurities.

Not all teams are shady enough to call age groups: pools, make them pay right away without telling them what team they are on for months.

If opfc is carrying 20, and I have no idea, at least those kids know the details of if they are 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th team before accepting a spot and paying.
