When accepting your child to ECRL, please do your research. NWE tells players at U11, 12, 13, and 14 that they have made their RL team. ECRL does not start until you are U15. When it does start, it's three weekends of the year, and you still play in OYSA. Does this not tell you everything about the club that you are joining? The ECRL on boys and girls is a money maker for ECNL. Pre-ECRL at U11 is a long wait before you get what is being sold. Parents get star-struck by a few letters and a cool logo. When will they all learn?

When you say ECRL doesn't start until U15, do you mean for the Northwest, with new league for Oregon teams?

The girls u15-u17 ECRL league is 2 weekends in August. No college coaches. All B teams. Nothing special. We paid the price last year. Won't make that mistake again. We played OYSA and were just good enough at the Gold level. The ECRL in the name meant absolutely nothing in terms of quality of coaching, competition, or college exposure. All sales for the girls side. Our club didn't have boys ECNL so I can't speak to that.

NWE has no morals. Shame on any parent that allows their child to play at this club. Terrible coaches that have no morals. It makes things worse when coaches that don't win have no morals, because you cannot say, "They are all about winning."

Parents love telling others, "My daughter made the RL team." IT MEANS NOTHING! Parents are being lied to about these programs. OYSA needs to step in and put a stop to this BS. They need to confront ECNL and let them know what NWE are doing.
ECNL exists, like OPL and lots of other things, so corrupt coaches could ignore OYSA.
