WSM only qualified for 3 finals today. 2 are in the boys and girls u18 bracket which is a cop out avoiding u19. Only 1 real win. Irrelevance defined.

Let's be clear WSM only captured 3 STATE TITLES and lost ONE STATE FINAL. Suck it!

OPFC may not have won just a few STATE CUP CHAMPIONSHIPS today.

They were the most successful club in Oregon in Winter/Spring and through the State Cup.

No other club can say that across all ages they were superior in league play or the State Cup.

Incredible year for OPFC 04, 06, 07, 09, and 10's all made it to the state cup finals. No other club comes close to this level of success.

This club has been building the right way with high quality coaches, systems and players have responded.

This is the way.

All that 'building' and only 1 returning State Cup Champion to show for 2023-24, albeit in the oldest age group. This is their special way.

??? opfc showing was weak, fall/winter leagues mean nothing other than a chance to develop your players skill and as always come statecup opfc has fallen so far behind technically and tactically it’s noticeable. just hoofing it long does not work. I have watched opfc get stuffed for years by less physical teams packing it in possessing the ball and winning on a counter

There is also a constant that remains unchanged, OPFC irrelevance and losing ways in the Oregon State cup.

Ever since the Timbers Alliance this club has struggled with being who they are, a good community club. They even tired to use the Crossfire name to better position themselves as Elite. Then of course they have joined every league, Elite Academy, E64 now ECNL Regional to separate themselves from other OYSA clubs. When it comes right down to it they are who they are, club "You want fries with that?"

Wealthy kids with private trainers will do that.
private trainers recruiting talent from other clubs will make you look good as a club as well

don't confuse that for quality. Unless your severely stupid

While WA, CA, ID, UT talk regional and national titles within their best clubs.

What you just admitted to. We the parents care about our kids wins not development. State titles without regional or national prove there is no development occurring within the club.
