1) Minimize the impact of OYSA in premier soccer to allow OYSA to focus on recreational and select soccer
2) Provide access to ECNL events
3) Possible future pathway to ECNL
A lot of complaining, and i know everyone wants to do it their way. But take a step back and consider if it goes well.
So much bitching about OYSA, GA, etc. for so long. Maybe if we can all get behind something it would benefit the kids instead of our own agenda.
Your precious ECRL teams will still play in OYSA. They will just play each other in Idaho too. You will go to ECRL showcases. Which college coaches will be in attendance t a B team showcase? There is no pathway to ECNL for Oregon teams. PDX will get kicked out before an Oregon team gets in. You are in cuckoo land!

Now with the importation of Fraudulent con artists into the United States who are selling supposed soccer coaching expertise to unsuspecting American parents. As someone from a country where soccer is a national sport, it is disheartening to see individuals lacking authentic skill and knowledge taking advantage of naïve parents. These self proclaimed "experts" are often foreigners who failed miserably in their own countries-- but magically succeed in the US thanks to their accents and the word "Academy". It's both frustrating and absurdly comical to see the upside-down world of youth American sports. We must take action to expose and end this fraudulent activity. Let's not allow these fraudsters to exploit our passion for sports and our children's dreams.
