        How bored are you?

No one but a few parents and grandparents care about women’s soccer .

Even my 12 y/o daughter knows this

What it looks like to me is predominately mediocre teams spending 1500$ to play other mediocre teams and get the same results.

          What a joke.

NW Elite parent. Results matter. This does not mean your kid is not developing or is not happy. But results matter for most things in the world.

1500 is a drop in the bucket. What a joke

WOW! Did NWE take their 2011s? These scores and placings mean nothing. ECNL has multiple levels for showcases. So, if you win all your games at the fifth tier, you are not a better team than a team that plays at tier one and lose three games. What it does tell everyone is that NWEs are terrible. Will they have the decency to pull out of ECNL? Oregon soccer is poor and cannot sustain all these BS leagues. There is always a buyer ;-)

ECNL does not have multiple levels at showcases. ECNL does not have levels at all. The pre-ecnl teams can go for more or less friendlies to gain some experience.

Who lied to you? Yes they do. Last year 90% of all the ECNL teams in Oregon played some lower level showcase at the end of the year when some of them didn’t even go.

Sorry, but you should know this or you can join the rest of the ECNL scammers and try to sell BS.

                      $1500….homey, try $2,000 per kid.

The racket of youth soccer is awesome. Save your money in a college fund and your kid doesn’t have to worry about a scholarship.

The best players in the state are not on these teams. That’s a fact. The kids with parents willing to blow insane amounts of cash to chase a pipe dream are on these teams

The reason why ECNL has followers and members is this response. They do have levels and you know nothing about ECNL. How do you think the showcases work? Top teams play each other. If you have teams that are not winning, you play teams at showcases that are also not winning. Makes sense really. Problem is, people like you think your team is playing top talent. Why do they have five levels of national titles? NWE and Thorns are not generally playing top level teams at showcases. And NWE are still getting beat. Show me the money baby!

Same thing at pretty much any major tournament. There's the platinum flight, or super black, or whatnot. There's the gold, silver, and maybe even a bronze.

Some teams will enter the low divisions of Surf Cup and brag that they are hot shiz.

Generally the lower flights aren't scouted as much as the top flights, but still cost the same.

Club soccer is a great racket because so many parents will buy a Yugo but pay the cost of a Benz.
