Yes, its true 2 out of the 3 team. However Alex and OPFC do not consider OYSA or USYS a very good level and have been trying to get out of OYSA and into another league for years. They staying in the OPL until not other team was there. Then the EAL now ECNL Regional....

Alex Hockburn is not a bad dude. Only worried about winning but that doesn’t make him a douche. Louis Jones however, is a true OPFC douche and a ****.

I agree, he is not bad dude, he is working his craft and moving up. Results matter and he is getting them. Good job

He's angling for a college head coaching job, so he doesn't have to deal with parents any more.
Look at Leonard Griffin. Six or seven years ago he was at FC Portland. Now he's the head coach at Cal. For all the parental craziness, THIS is the true success story of the 2005 boys!

Leonard Griffin did not start in youth soccer and move up to college soccer.... he started in college soccer and had a side hustle as director at FC Portland to pay the bills while he was asst at UP, which is very common for college asst coaches who are not paid very much. Colleges want coaches with college coach/recruiting experience, not youth soccer coaches.
