From an OPL league mate, congratulations to Lake O for representing our league well! Maybe we parents don't always get along here but we are all very proud of those LO girls!

Good job LO, from what I heard you played well and had some good chances yourselves.

Congrats to the Timbers girls. Hopefully the NWCL title will be won by a team from the Portland/Vancouver area.

Quite possibly was a child. The more I think about it, the more I think it was not a deliberate attempt to distract. The Crossfire game ended a few minutes before ours, and the "lights flashing" may have simply been people getting in their cars and leaving.

BTW, my daughter also mentioned how gracious the Timbers team was after the game. It's always hard to lose a game on PK's and my daughter said the Timbers applauded them as they were leaving the field. This is probably a better indicator of the Timbers sportsmanship than what was probably some random lights/horns in the parking lot.
