Does anyone know what Westside is planning?

Looks like all the know-it-alls had it wrong about FCSC and Pacific merging. So typical of this forum.......

Something must be seriously a stray at Pacific. Overheard a couple of mucky mucks talking possible bankruptcy. What the heck is happening there ?

I have no connection to any of these feuding clubs, fortunately my soccer clime is further south. However I think it is always interesting how people get so wound up when the "Bankruptcy" word comes up. Come on people unless we are talking about the big corporate clubs like Westside, Eastside, etc... the rest of the soccer clubs out there are run on a pretty delicate margin, and are non-profits to boot. It doesn't take falling to far, or some individuals great misdeeds to put one of these clubs in a precarious position. Bankruptcy is also kind of a strange idea since the only real payables most of these clubs have are field usage and salaries.

Just saying, it may not be that big a deal.

I think they were making fun of the person saying Pacific was going Bankrupt. They have no overhead, no paid positions, no costs. They all register through their respective REC clubs. So unless VanWest, Prairie, Lewis River and Battleground clubs are going bankrupt--that is the only way Pacific goes bankrupt. They are an alliance.
Now if they did form a Club and bring on lots of overhead and salaries, then they do run the possibility of going bankrupt.

                  d

They formed a club with Prairie, Lewis River and BG and now called Pacific Soccer Club. They are still trying to get FCSC advanced competition to merge.

So are paid coaches the sticking point as to why FCSC won't join?
Where does Joe fit in all this? Or is he the sticking point?

Don't know. I think it is paid coaches. If merge DOC would be Joe as Pacific DOC does not want to be DOC from what I heard in grapevine
