    Girls state HS soccer playoffs

Any big surprises yesterday? St Mary’s and OR City were only two teams to win in upsets. Seems like lots of other games went to OT or PKs but the higher seeded team won. Is the field really that close, or were the seedings not great at predicting strength of team?

It’s no surprise that OSAA gave Jesuit a super easy bracket. Like every year

Uh, it's a seeded tournament. Je$uit is the #1 seed. Dumbazz.

(And I have no love whatsoever for Je$uit).

Cleveland looks pretty good, and Lincoln knocked off Grant the defending champ.

What a clueless comment, it is based upon OSAA final ranking.

Not surprising these 2 teams won. The 3 Rivers League is the most competitive league in the state. All seven 3 Rivers teams made it thru to the playoffs.

Questionable or marginal officiating as usual.

It's questionable all the time which makes it the new normal. Therefore it's a non factor. Time to win without excuses and lose gracefully at this point.

Wish more capable people would become officials but I doubt the pay or work environment will entice many.
