You would be correct if all the “next level” talent here all played at updx. As it is, updx is nothing more than a local team playing in Seattle against mostly Seattle local teams (aside from xfire A team and Seattle united) that just happen to be better

Not trying to single any individual comment. But I assume all of the comments in these crap-talking threads are either made by parents, players, or club employees.

if you’re a player, the moment you graduate high school none of this will matter to you. You will either be playing collegiate soccer or attending school and not worried about this. It’s soccer.

If you’re a parent, then I just feel sorry for you. Put your kids in the environment that suits them best and then just focus on that. Once your son or daughter graduates, youth soccer won’t matter to you at all. You won’t think about it literally any second of your life unless you’re reminiscing about “the good old days” when they were younger.

if you’re a club director or employee, then it’s even more sad. Focus on your club and focus on you. Get off of an Oregon soccer talk message board just to talk crap. You’re a sorry excuse of a leader for your organization.

Just some thoughts. Threads like this are sad and a waste of time.

You can tell when someone has hit the upper 90, when someone else breaks out the "why is everyone here so gosh darn mean?" post.

Yawn. Owned on an anonymous wanker site like this? I call this a self own on your part for trying to say someone else was owned. Who owns who? Lame calling the lame; lame is classic owning os it being owned? Follow me?

I guess the loser kids that couldn't make the A team either got owned or self owned. Not sure. They need to play better or pay more.

The parents that are upset their loser kids didn't make the A team is kind of a self own too. Your kid is just like you. Not good enough.

The coaches that put the best players on the A team and second best on the B team are the only ones that have it right. The coaches that put players they personally train ahead of others is the wanker.

If you do not like UPDX's culture find a club that makes u and ur kid feel special and fuzzy. Fair enough. Pay to play is everywhere in Portland. Just for you mr average.

Or come and cry about it here. Read the threads and drown your sorrow in urine... or your other beverage of choice. Here in the PNW it might just be cum you swallow. Not sure. Men here are like women everywhere else.

Don’t see the weekly check-in by the hater who posts all of the scores and recaps of UPDX’s ECNL weekend. What happened, you only get keyboard fingers when UPDX loses?

UPDX won at virtually all age levels against Crossfire II on Sunday (conceded only 4 goals combined across all 6 matches incl 3 shutouts) and that’s on the end of a back to back weekend after most teams faced off against Snohomish on Saturday and picked up some wins and draws.
