All you folks telling us Gresham was good .

I was there (and have no dog in the fight either) and the Score line does not always tell the whole story- Gresham out possessed and out played Jesuit the entire first half even though they ended the half down 1-0. A quick goal that was fluky and was not due to any build up by Jesuit seemed to take the steam completely out of Gresham and Jesuit tallied 2 more (both very direct counters off Gresham set pieces- probably with more players up in the box than should have been trying to get a goal back) not long after. Jesuit deserved to win and took advantage of most of their chances but a different bounce at the start of the second half and it’s probably a different story and to say Gresham sucked is a gross misstatement.

You can have possession and not attack so they aren’t technically wrong but yes, every time Gresham pressed forward they were stopped.

Agree. That person was describing a different game. Gresham had a good first 10 min and then it was all downhill for them and not just because Gresham fell a part. Jesuit was connecting passes and moving the ball, defending well and wrecking them. Gresham looked like they had no business playing in a state semi final game. No disrespect, but the score does in fact say it all.

I agree. I agree with whoever said Aloha and Gresham. Both teams are peaking at the right time. Westview plays a physical boot/counter game, but are horribly inconsistent with their effort.

Except for 5 different players scored for Jesuit and all were assisted in the attacking half.

It don't matter how you win as long as long as you are within the rules of game. One with the most points lifts the hardware.
