A lot of players kicking tires of multiple clubs...all offers will go out by end of week. We should know the tally early next week. UPDX seems to be gaining and FC seems to be capturing some in initial rumors...seems to be coming from WST and OPFC. -

UPDX is the big winner. They 09/08/07 teams scored heavily. Top kids wanting to play ECNL. It is just what Oregon needed.Comment

At 08, TA is the big big winner, of course. At 07, where did the first round of U15 TA cuts wind up? One week you're winning the GA Cup, the next you find yourself back at club...Comment

Their 07 team was the strongest in a sea of Oregon club team garbage & they lost a handful of their 08's to the TA. This team could use a litmus test regionally when they play xf seattle. Always better to face reality.Originally posted by Guest View Post
Their 08 team resembled about 8 other lower level Premier Gold and higher level Premier Silver teams. They had tons of room to improve for sure and all the potential player movement from all the other similar teams would of notchange on scintilla the averageness they are stuck travelling with now. Sell crazy elsewhere.
Regarding the 09 team if they made the leap from recreational to competitive that would be a scores heavily moment. Maybe the parents can submit to the IRS mileage reimbursement for volunteering to make other teams feel better by allowing 10+ goals a match.

U15 TA
Some 08's know they are in. I heard 14 made full time player status.
Some 08's are "fulltime training" and they are the ones who backfill the roster. Play in some games.
Some are offered training and a hug goodbye.
Some 09's made full time training status for the U15 team
Most of the players who made full time playing and full time training tried out for club teams and will play with them till later this year. Then leave them and join the TA mid season. Makes sense.
U17 TA
The 07's have not told the boys who stays for U17 and who goes.
The 06's have a good idea who is staying but I heard there are some surprises with out of town talent coming and bumping their way onto the U17 team.
