Nobody cares about the girls' state cup at U13 and above. Might as well post about the President's Cup while you are at it.

Highest seeded team alwasy gets the lowest seeded team "in theory". They alwasy assume that the top two seeds move on. A Bracket has 1 & 8, B has 2 & 7, C has 3 & 6, D has 4 & 5.
So...the top seed coming from A should get the second seed from B. In theory, the second seed in B should be the 7th seed overall. Since the 8th seed woudl be in group A...and you never play someone from your group again until the end...you end up getting the 7th seed.

there is no ladder until the group play in done. After group play it is either quarters or semi finals. Its not brain surgery.
