I was talking with the guy that does private training with this girl once a week for an hour...he sends her home with some homework and she has been working on it....

it's funny how you rip on her technical abilities when her technical side of the game isn't that far behind most if not all of the 12 year old girls out there. I'm sure your knowledge of the game isn't anywhere near the knowledge of the U-14 WNT coach who has this girl in their sights for training this year.....for the u14 WNT staff to be looking at a player shows the caliber of player she is....

athletically she is gifted...no one will argue that, you simply can't teach the athletic ability she has. No one is born with technical abilities....that comes with hard work....just like golf the more you strike a ball the better you become.

It's amazing to think how someone could call out a kid with that much talent to diminish her accomplishments.

There is another player from that area who people said the same thing about. She ended up playing for the national team.

I'm sure it was a parent who is upset that their team and kid ended up in a worse off situation.

Yes, I have seen her play a few times and she is very talented and gifted! My daughters team has played against her and even though it's extremely competitive we are huge fans and enjoy watching her play! The "gifted" ones will always have haters.
