Not correct. The 08's and 09's were there for free- the Timbers paid for airfare, rooms and food. All the top kids were in the Discovery too. Sorry your kid didnt make it but it is what it is. Stop lying.

Nope… my kid is in Discovery (not that it matters) and made the cut for Round 2 that starts around 1/17. I’m not sure why a bunch of adults banter over little kids. My point in all this is there are lots of really good kids not playing ODP for various reasons. Some would rather play up, play other sports while playing soccer, or lucky ( and good enough) to be training overseas. Anyway, I’m off this board; it’s useless jealous banter instead of parents giving each other tips.

My DS didn't do ODP this year, and with the pandemic and such, I'm not upset by that decision. That said, I'm not going to show up here and pee on the kids who did participate. Other than TA, it's not like there are any programs here in town that are significantly better.

Move along small person and find something better to do or better yet teach your player how to be a better player so they can enjoy the rest of their youth soccer experience. Exactly. It is simply an alter ego for a guy with very little to live for and fewer things that give him happiness. Let him do his thing as it is all he has. It is who he is. Sad right?
