An interesting weekend of soccer is complete. The usual suspects from the Puget Sound WPFC and Crossfire look to be the class of the group. Our friends from north of the 49th parallel can put the ball in the back of the net. FC Portland a lone bright spot amongst OPL teams. Vancouver Timbers were simply embarrassing. Discuss!

Talking about the first NWCL weekend, I guess it comes down to matchups.
Look at the Boise Nationals - they beat Crossfire, but lost to Issaquah and got blown out by Fraser. FCP even tied with Coquitlam, who in turn tied Pacific Fire.
WPFC and Vancouver were consistent throughout.

Because last years coach demanded that the boys be disciplined and made sure they all knew it was a team effort. How does WST expect the new coach to do the same when he can't even control his own son.

It'll be hard to keep the morale of the players up, if you get beat like that every weekend.
Leave your ego at the door and start working your way up. Just play OPL for now...
