Semifinal Match-up?
Flight A:
1) WPFC Black
2) Crossfire A
Flight B:
1) Vancouver Timbers
2) Eugene MFC
Does anyone know how the Semis work? As in who plays who?
Is it:
WPFC vs. Eugene MFC
Vancouver Timbers vs. Crossfire A
or is it:
WPFC vs. Crossfire A
Vancouver Timbers vs. Eugene FC

While the standings don't show it, I believe Crossfire finished first in Flight 1 because they played fewer games and have slightly higher points per game. So, based on the rules, the standings should be:
Flight A
1) Crossfire A
2) WPFC
Flight B
1) VUSA Timbers
2) EMSC Athletica
The rules don't state who plays whom in the semis and I don't remember how they did it last year. If #1 of Flight A plays #2 of Flight B, and vice versa, it would be Crossfire vs. Athletica and Timbers vs. WPFC. If it is #1 vs #2 within each Flight, it would be Crossfire vs. WPFC and Timbers vs EMSC.

I had heard they are in PDX this year? If so where? THPRD?

I heard there were some issues regarding LOs points and that they might be the team advancing. Has a final decision been made?

Rules = Guidelines and can be altered as the powers see fit.
Why would the NWCL be any different then the OPL or RCL or PSPL or OYSA or ...

more to the story?
If the NWCL had told LO that the "extra" game would not count against them then if you back out the numbers of that "extra" game maybe LO goes thru based on 6 game stats vs. 7?

yes, but why enter it in on the standings if it didn't count? That does not make sense. The rules clearly state that if there is an extra game played they would divide the total points by their games played and multiply by the number of games the other teams played to find the average points.

remove the crossfire game and they move through based on points. remove the fc nova game and they move through based on goal differential.
i would rather watch emfc vs timbers
