Worst Parent Group

I don't have a 98 so I am an unbiased observer. Just let me know when Nemesis, Copa, East Side and any other bad parent group is playing and I will go and observe and set the record straight on which group is the worst. It will be completely unbiased.

Check the schedules on the OPL website. Guarantee Nemesis parents win and Westside Copa girls win.

I am SO glad someone asked what the WT Copa 98 and Nemesis teams do! It was asked in another post on this thread what Westside T/S parents do.....I have to point out that you have confused the two teams here. I would like to clarify that WT Copa 98 is COMPLETELY SEPARATE from WT Copa T/S 98! They are two different teams! WT Copa from Beaverton is who you are referring to here....NOT Tualatin/Sherwood. Believe me, my daughter would tell me if our T/S girls swear at other players, and I would personally let the coach know that is happening. Also, we don't have an assistant, let alone one with a daughter on the team.

So now I have to ask...what do the Copa T/S parents do to irritate other parents?

I would say some of the arrogance that I have observed since winning OYSA State. In fact, I recall a T/S parent saying they had the easiest draw at FWR and would be the only OR girls team to advance. I also heard, not read, a T/S parent state they have performed better against CA vs any other OR team

Doesn't look like anything was confused. The post clearly stated Westside Copa and not TS. I can tell you that TS has some parents that are quite annoying and want a whistle everytime there little daughter is touched. Not to mention that according to the parents Copa TS has never committed a foul. I think the cockiness of the parents is the most annoying. I have to admit that they aren't as bad as Nemesis, Westside Copa, or Eastside though.

I thought I would revive this thread since practically every topic I read ends up talking about some Vancouver team, or OR team who's parents are so obnoxious. I figured if we could get them all together we would know who really ARE the worst and I would be tempted to go see a game just see what all the talk is about and get a good laugh. Could drive attendance you know. Agreed?

I would suggest this game ,hands down the worst parents on either side we have encountered.

This really shouldn't be about which club. It should be about gender. It is clear. For whatever insane reason, the parents of girls teams are 10x worse than the boys. You can even see it on these boards. It is crazy... and the boys intensity level is 10x that of the girls games with significant testosterone approaching U13 and above.

The funniest thing for me is to watch is the younger girls parents. As little 4 footers run around, these parents go nuts! Insults. Whining. Chewing out refs. The whole thing. Sometimes darn near fist fights.

I also have a boy and a girl. Our daughter's team are relatively nice compared to our older boys parents. For the most part, I try to ignore the other team's parents as much as possible and be a positive example. I think it just depends on the parents. Overall, most parents are ok, just a few that are out of control and ruin it for everyone.
