The best Coach / DOC in Oregon

OK, no slating coaches. Who is the coach of the year in Oregon? Who have you seen that has all the attributes needed to coach young players? From what I have seen, Eastside are on the up. They are doing really well on the boys side.

        My nominee

Coached earlier in the year, I believe, but may not be right now. My vote goes to Paul Goldsborough (sp?) from FC Portland. Used to coach there quite regularly.

It would have to be Cony from wst for honesty integrity and having the vision for where Oregon soccer is headed. Also his coaching is first rate. I mean really nobody compares. They should consider him for the head coaching job with the MLS Timbers. Think about all the lives he has touched and the kids he has developed. Really think about it. He is tops

....is this sarcasm? or a joke? That club has no morals or ethics about how players and coaches should conduct themselves. That is down to the DOC isn't it?

Way to start the thread and then be the first to respond to it. Love it when people have a post in mind, but no where to put it so they start their own thread.

John Bain is the BEST of the best. He is the total package. Any team would be lucky to have him as coach.

As a former player of his, I completely agree!

That's what happens when you only earn 5 minutes a game.

I've heard a lot of good things about Scot Thompson at BSC.

And anyone whos played on John Bain's team knows no one plays just 5 minutes except maybe State Cup finals. He's 100% into developments and believes all kids need to play to develop. All kids play at least 50%.
