How? How did they get our mailing addresses?
When? When will THPRD get rid of the knuckleheads that are making such stupid decisions and trying to protect one another while they try to justify and ok all the things they have done to try to prop up and grow Westside?

Stop wasting your time here with less than 100 soccer addicts and get your butt out in the streets of the district and get a petition signed. Take that to the THPRD Board and then recruit candidates to run against the the "knuckleheads".

[QUOTE=Unregistered;805756]It's called politics which means that you need the votes to change the make up of the majority of THPRD board.
Politics...... geee, thats what keeps creating these messes.
It should be called...... doing what's right for the MAJORITY of the kids
I assume nobody on THPRD's board is above "resigning" before their term is up. Let's hope they do the right thing.

Yes, let's focus on improving Tualatin Hills district soccer and meeting the needs of kids in Tualatin Hills district.
One of the problems is that the needs of Southwest side of Beaverton kids are not being met in competitive soccer. So we are losing kids to other clubs, sports and activities. For various reasons they do not like the classic options.
AU has had it's up and downs but they are trying to meet the needs of the community that includes Aloha, Beaverton and Southridge high school areas. They are the largest THJSL rec club, they want a development and classic program. It would be great if the clubs could all work together to solve this problem.
My kids have played classic and rec at Aloha and classic at another club. In that time we were at THPRD fields for one day each year for the jamboree, occasionally for games and never for practice. Don't know where THPRD in their letter is getting their hours but it wasn't for my kids teams.
Aloha has a point even if PB is not going about it the best way, time for THPRD to listen and time for the rest of the district to get involved. This problem has been going on for a long time, affects other clubs, other sports and the Tualatin community.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostNew to this little arguement, but by reducing the clubs, you reduce the conflicts for getting onto the fields. Seems elementary there Watson.
Soccer isn't just about Classic - and this is coming from a Classic parent. THPRD is also responsible for supporting the req programs in the area, which are far bigger than the Classic clubs and children playing.
Again - reducing the number of clubs and subsequently reducing the number of children playing is not the correct solution. We should be working to increase the number of fields available for all the children wanting to play.
