I didn't start this thread, but I was hoping to see some replies for the younger ages. We've looked for camps for our U10 but most of them are for rec soccer players and they would be a waste of time for him.
For the older kids, U14 and up, the colleges offer good camps but it might be too late to go to most of these. Some of the colleges offer camps for players who lower level soccer players as well as camps for advanced soccer players.

Bigs
I sent my 11 year old to this camp last year and it was very good.

Timbers camps are as good as they get - have done several of those.

My kid did this one at age 10 two years ago. Great camp, but hurry - registration closes soon.

Can always call the camp to find out where they target their coaching, most we've spoken with have been very honest, some have even offered to have us come and if it was too low, to give us our money back. Really cool of them to offer that to us!

camps are what you make of them...
Its up to your kid what they get from camp. My kid even had fun and got some cool moves out of British Soccer Camp. I know. I know. Sure, he was the oldest one there, but loved the English humor and asked the blokes for some help with advanced footwork and juggling and they were more than happy to oblige.

Camps
My son took summer Futsal camps at Portland Futsal. The coach is great and almost all the players were classic skilled players, which is very rare for a camp. I know they do a lot of ball work everyday and my son was exhausted at the end of the day!

My child also did a futsal camp last year and has done the academies also. The coaches name is Trevor and he is amazing with the kids. I think he also coaches at OSA and he is an Elementary school teacher which was important to me. We even watched him play a futsal game and he is an incredible player, really skillful. The most important part was his ability to interact with the kids. A+
