          The biggest whiners about how bad ODP is are the ones whose kids don't make the teams anyway. If it is so bad then don't participate.

              All coaches pick favorites but Ancheta only gives useful feedback to his select favorites and leaves the rest of the players hanging. They'll go along thinking that they're doing alright because he's playing them a lot or starting them all of the time and he hasn't given any negative feedback or pointers ... and then cut them without warning. He'll tell the parents that he doesn't want to talk with the parents and that the girls are old enough to talk to him about their own concerns but he'll talk to parents of his select favorites, so while they're getting feedback, everyone else is in the dark as much as their kids are. Perhaps his communication skills have improved and I'm wrong.
