My child has been participating at the regional level going on her 5th year and I am amazed at how little information is available to help parents understand what the process is and how to navigate it. It is exciting and you should be very proud of your youngster!!!!!! Congratulations.

Basically any holiday is very expensive to fly so the $650 all inclusive price is not that expensive compared to any tournament that my DD has attended that required air travel. When we did the final four it was well over $1000. In any case, I don't know how much assistance can be obtained as we have never received any from anyone. Of all the tournaments that my DD has attended I would rank this at the top in terms of exposure so it could be a good fit if you are foregoing other tournaments. Also, unlike club tournaments, you do not pay for the coaches, you do not get nickled and dimed on food, yada yada and so forth. As travel soccer goes we rank this very high.

It isn't like there is just one goal involved. One of my DD's teammates who made the national team dropped out of ODP because she really wasn't interested in playing that much soccer. My DD on the other hand will be delighted to get to play with the national team should that opportunity present itself. While a long shot, it isn't out of the realm of possibilities and she is willing to keep trying.

i believe that a big selection of the 99's are from Oregon ODP like 8 of them, i heard they were quite impressive in Idaho. Congradulations to all the the regional picks, great honor for them all.

Why are the rosters not posted yet? Does anyone have any idea as to when they should be? I know they sent emails out to some but I just want to see the full list.
