    2013 ODP Regional Camp Rosters

The 99 girls roster looks really good, can't wait to see how they stack up at regionals. They have a lot of talent. They have size, speed and skill. They did beat the 98's, lets see what they do in the friendlies leading up to camp. Congradulations to all the girls who are advancing.

Congrats! What teams / clubs are these girls representing? Do they come from just a few or are they pretty spread out?

            Regional camp

Alternates will go only if one of the roster players does not except there spot, and it would usually go to the next in line for there position, forward, mid, d back, outside back, etc. there are usually 1 alternate per position, there are some exceptions, lefties, multiple-position player, etc.

They are from everywhere, Sherwood, THUSC, fc pdx, fcsc salmon creek, bend rush just to name a few. It really is a good little team. They really started to come together with there limited time together, the girls really seem to get along well with each other. There has been a lot of bonding with them all, no little clicks.

                2 from EMFC on roster
                1 EMFC is an alternate

                Congrats to all the girls!

Just curious... are most of them playing on U14 teams next fall, or U13?

I believe that most are on 98 u14 squads maybe 1 or 2 on u13. Mine DD is on u14 club ball and is league age to play u13, so will play both with helping out down there.

It sounds as though your child has already been to regional camp last year. So...my question is: do the head and assistant coaches "coach" the team at camp or do the regional coaches? Im asking because I'm not too fond of our head coach and he has his "favorites". Im not sure my child will have the opportunity to "show". Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Crazies on here have complained about ODP being expensive. How much was it? How much is regional camp? Congratulations to all that made it.

We are a 99, was just told all this by 97 and 98 parents. What I was told was this regional camp process was like going to the state pool camp when all rtc's got together to play to make state pool, except now with state players, that will be a lot better. The coaches are shown at the bottom of each roster, which should be your state coaches. I would say that if your child got play time durring the friendlys and friendship cup, you expect the same here. What you have to remember is that there are once again several people watching your child in the training portions of the camp, 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, etc, etc. this from what I hear is a great opportunity for the ones selected. There will be regional and national coaches there to evaluate players. There first look will be attributes, speed, size, strength tactical awareness, etc. they can always teach the finess of the game. I know people are not going agree with the last statement and there are exceptions, but let's be real a slow and small girl with the best footwork will not make it over a big and fast girl with average foot skills.

800.00 for girls to go to Moscow, ID. Really not bad, considering that transportation to and from, lodging, meals and a week of trainning is included. Oh, and don't forget you get a t shirt. What would a week at any overnight summer camp cost?

University of Washington has an elite live in camp. It's less than $500. My daughter loved it so much, she's going again this summer.
