Does anyone know what the criteria is in getting into the Surf Cup this summer? My DD's team is planning on applying to get in. Thx.

Not sure, but Onyx is the only team that can do well and get in to that tournament. -

It's difficult to get into thats for sure. U10-U14 are all placed in the same division so there is not gold and super group. If you have done well in other California touraments that will help. Doing well in NWCL is helpful too. Here is what it says on their website (winning State Cup in Oregon is not very helpful in getting into Surf Cup).Originally posted by Unregistered View Post

Yes, but they won everything in state, numerous tournaments out of state, didn't lose a game in NWCL that year, beat ranked CA teams, beat ranked WA teams. You need a great team resume to get considered and then need to perform well when there. I don't have a daughter on that team, but I have to be honest and admit that Onyx is the only qualified OR team at this age level at this time for Surf Cup. Thusc Onyx, Wusc Arsenal, U16 and U18 WSM. Don't know if there were any u15-u18 Girls teams that won.Comment
