Well...I know that our team has already paid and locked in. So unless these teams denied or registered too late, then I guess it could vary a little. For instance...Pacific FC 99 Fire is getting an invite because the team above them denied their invitation...atleast that is what I've been told. Does anyone know of any others?

Pacific FC 99 Fire is getting an invite because the team above them denied their invitation...atleast that is what I've been told.

Which team declined? Does Pacific 99 automatically get the slot and if they decline the next team gets it (if they want in?) What is happening with the teams up north?

Remember that there are no real, written rules with NWCL. It appears that each league has some method of determining the original invitees, but if anyone declines it's then a wide-open crapshoot to fill the holes.

As far as the north teams, some RCL clubs are beginning to wonder whether the NWCL is worth their time and money if the best competition are the same teams they are already playing in the RCL league...

GU-13 VUSA 99 Reds are in.

Placed 2nd in the RCL FALL, which more then enough qualifies them for NWCL which is the placement season.


Crossfire B is out for sure or possible A team if they decline.

Washington Rush if they decide to get technical they would be in.

You know this how?.

Too easy:

1. Because top 3-4 teams from RCL get into Surf cup anyway. RCL is a top 5 league in the country and is known for this. Oregon teams need NWCL to get into Surf because OPL or OYSA leaves them with gold division or none.

2. Washington premier and crossfire A are ECNL: They get into surf just by asking.

Eastside and Nationals send their girls teams there every year so its almost a given for them when they apply as long as they do decently well in RCL

Now its down to the VUSA's, Spokanes, Whatcoms, etc to fight for Surf.....

3. Its pretty much a waste of time in general to the top 4 teams in the RCL:

Find me an Oregon team besides Onyx that has even remotely shown they can compete with Washington.

The first year when they made the brackets they mixed OR and WA and had them play eachother and WA was the only teams to make it out. This is embellishing.

So instead they tried to make them play cross bracket and had all of OR and WA in their same brackets. And then you had a situation where the last place team in WA had 14 points with 4 wins and 2 ties with ZERO losses and the top team in Oregon didn't have a win.....

Waste of time to play Oregon for a prize that they already get.

This is girls side mind you.
