I don't think they will win for sure but what I can tell you that by U-13 it will be clear who did right by the players.

1st lesson in youth soccer. U-10 & U-11 soccer based on wins i.e. structured game with possession, positions, etc..... is FAIL.

Don't believe me? Why don't you go ask Salmon Creek who rides the kids for wins then the team falls apart because they realize only 3 players were developed and the other 11 kick the ball up the field.

Let me guess, you have kids who don't play anything but one position and they have to only do a certain task that the coach needs for wins........

Ask someone who knows what they are talking about and then come back and boast about your team.
I'll be sure not to ask you then...

Reds lost players along with adding players the other team didn't want. SS team got the top 5 players in the tryout if not more.
Kind of funny how 10 players on a team improve significantly, 2 don't improve, and it's all the coaches fault...

Of course the White team didn't want them. You can't add players that will make your "stars" look bad...

THUSC Plutonium looked pretty good in U10. Did they add any impact players for U11?

Sherwood Reign did have some good athletes on their U10 team. Is this team back for U11? Also, what about UnitedSA en Feugo? Big, strong girls. Tended to play a mean brand of bootball but I'm sure they can be trained out of that.

Plutonium lost a couple good players, but picked up a 4 new girls who we haven't seen enough of to know if they will be "impact" players yet. :) They finished spring strong, but time will tell... Really excited to watch all the U11 games this year! Good luck all!

No matter what, you are also wrong in your assumptions about young players not able to know how to play "possession, positions, etc..." and continue to grow into skilled successful players making up the teams. If the coaches and players have the work ethic then almost anything is possible. Teams change from year to year, and a lot of it is because the coaches are looking for players that continue to demonstrate those qualitiesI have seen it happen time and again, especially with girls that are now in their early 20s. FC, LO, and WS all had U11s that could and did compete against other U11s from California, Arizona, and New Mexico.

Give it a break. These are parents (and likely coaches and siblings) celebrating their young ones getting into their first or second year of classic soccer. Things change year to year but the best teams are comprised of players able to adapt and play.

Yes, but you also have to include in the team compsition to include the person who buys their way on, and those that are drinking buddies with the coach/DOC. Each team always has a few of those.

Is that why the entire WSA team which were top 6-8 coming in from Dan Macaya refused to play for the crazy Tyger? Or am I just misinformed when players leave the Reds, some took a spot on the B team because they wouldn't play for him.

Go figure, people go where the coaching and development is.....strange idea when noone wants to play for the "A" team that WINS EVERY GAME OMG!

                            Actually it was this:

                            Coach A: No experience coaching

Coach B: 20+ years of coaching

Coach A : Has he coached a competitive club team

Coach B : Coached some of the best products to come out of WA and OR

Composition my butt, what would you choose

CFC what a mistake. They are the WST of Salem. Girls pay to support the boys program.
