    New U11 Girls

What club will have the top team? Will it be FC Portland, THUSC, LOSC, ESUFC, SSC etc or are there others out there to watch out for?

Timbers will have 2 strong teams. The one coached by Steve Studley will be tough to beat, but Jeremy Tiger's team is also very good. Could be a Timbers 1-2 finish.

      Take a stab at it

I will take a stab at it, I think the traditional clubs on the girls side will field strong teams but watch out for Sherwood, WUSC and the Salem teams

WST is going to jump back in the mix with 2 full u11 girls teams (5 girls played up u11 last year, from a couple different clubs) . Not sure where they'll land, but should be much stronger than the last few years

Timbers 1-2 perhaps, but if it is it'll be Tyger's team at #1.

This team (Timbers G01 Red) has 10 players returning from the U10 team that went 27-4-4 in all competitions, won OPL Director's Cup, Mt. Hood, Lake Oswego, and made it to the quarter finals of Challenge Cup. At a young age this team is already the best in the area at possessing the ball and playing air-tight team defence. Add in some excellent additions from FCSC and WSA both on the backline and up front and this team will be the team to beat in OPL Premier this fall.

I could see Sherwood doing well, especially merging with Tualatin.

            Maybe Salem, but probably not.
Don't see WUSC....they do okay but normally fall apart, except for a couple of their older teams

With the DOC running the show for the GU11 FCSC will be in the Top 4.

Sure they will be... Top 4 of 3rd division maybe.

CFC has 2 U11 girls teams in a pool of around 32 players. Depending on how they divide them up they should have at least one premier level team.

Except for the current U15 boys WUSC does not have a good team. U11 is usually as good as it gets there.

I don't think they will beat Studley's new team. They are the best players around that didn't want to play for Tyger. Some from the Timbers Academy and some from WSA. Exciting time for the younger Timbers ages. The boys U11's will be awesome too.

That's the key. The "best" players did want to play for the Reds...

Their current U13 Girls team won OYSA State Cup (U12); yes I know it is diluted but still a decent team.

Possession at U-10????????? Sounds like a terrible Coach. You probably don't know any better.

1st lesson in youth soccer. U-10 & U-11 soccer based on wins i.e. structured game with possession, positions, etc..... is FAIL.

Don't believe me? Why don't you go ask Salmon Creek who rides the kids for wins then the team falls apart because they realize only 3 players were developed and the other 11 kick the ball up the field.

Let me guess, you have kids who don't play anything but one position and they have to only do a certain task that the coach needs for wins........

Ask someone who knows what they are talking about and then come back and boast about your team.

Lets be honest, noone wanted to play for the Reds because of their development faulures last year. My DD's team played theres and it was clear the coach cared nothing but getting a win and everyone knows it. He should be coaching with Victor at Salmon Creek......wait, wasn't he coached by Victor?

Reds lost players along with adding players the other team didn't want. SS team got the top 5 players in the tryout if not more.
