What club will have the top team? Will it be FC Portland, THUSC, LOSC, ESUFC, SSC etc or are there others out there to watch out for?

Take a stab at it
I will take a stab at it, I think the traditional clubs on the girls side will field strong teams but watch out for Sherwood, WUSC and the Salem teams

Timbers Reds are team to beat
Originally posted by Unregistered View PostTimbers will have 2 strong teams. The one coached by Steve Studley will be tough to beat, but Jeremy Tiger's team is also very good. Could be a Timbers 1-2 finish.
This team (Timbers G01 Red) has 10 players returning from the U10 team that went 27-4-4 in all competitions, won OPL Director's Cup, Mt. Hood, Lake Oswego, and made it to the quarter finals of Challenge Cup. At a young age this team is already the best in the area at possessing the ball and playing air-tight team defence. Add in some excellent additions from FCSC and WSA both on the backline and up front and this team will be the team to beat in OPL Premier this fall.

Maybe Salem, but probably not.
Don't see WUSC....they do okay but normally fall apart, except for a couple of their older teams

1st lesson in youth soccer. U-10 & U-11 soccer based on wins i.e. structured game with possession, positions, etc..... is FAIL.
Don't believe me? Why don't you go ask Salmon Creek who rides the kids for wins then the team falls apart because they realize only 3 players were developed and the other 11 kick the ball up the field.
Let me guess, you have kids who don't play anything but one position and they have to only do a certain task that the coach needs for wins........
Ask someone who knows what they are talking about and then come back and boast about your team.

Reds lost players along with adding players the other team didn't want. SS team got the top 5 players in the tryout if not more.
