Why is Thusc even doing this to their team? I understand challenging yourselves, but they will get hammered by these teams. Not by a little, by a LOT. Why not give the spot to a stronger team? This makes no sense to me.

That's not how the selections are made. THUSC is there solely because it is the host this year and gets an automatic entry. If this team were elsewhere, no team from OR or SW WA would have a chance of being in it. Not a hater, just reality.

Not a THUSC parent, but I think they earned their entry by winning Vegas. Certainly being local helps. Good luck

No, that is not a tournament needed to win entry for the Man U Cup. The teams in the Cup are WAY beyond the Vegas tournament.

Really, I don't want to offend you. I am not familiar with the THUSC team, but I am very familiar with the tourney and the selection process. If this tourney is outside PDX, no Oregon team is in it. THUSC is in it this year simply because it is the host club this year (similar to LO in some prior years) and has nothing to do with winning any tourneys like Vegas. I wish them huge, huge luck and hope they kick butt.

Next year there is no other OR team that wears a Nike swoosh, other than Onyx, that can compete.
