Man I really thought the Sherwood parents were going to stay down, but it looks like their jealousy and envy got the best of them. I don't know about everyone else, but I actually just feel sorry for them now. It's tough when you are the defending (OYSA) State Cup champions and you have a target on your back every game. I guess the pressures of success just got to the Sherwood parents and they couldn't handle. They finally cracked! Lost it! They became delusional! It got so bad that they even thought that other parents out there were just as bat **** crazy as they were. I mean to even think that any sane person would ever let their child go play for a club/team with absolutely no future just goes to show the depths of their insanity. Poor silly Sherwood parents. I picture them tonight, curled up in a fetal position in the corner of the living room, foam coming from their mouths, babbling incoherently, with their daughters standing over them trying to console them. "It's okay daddy, those mean old Onyx parents won't hurt you. Don't worry daddy, those crazy Rush parents went back to Bend. They can't hurt us now." It's gonna be ooooooookay Daddy!" "Just think daddy, next year we get to merge with Westside! Yeah! Won't it be just swell!" And at that I then picture Sherwood Dad looking up at the fire place mantle, seeing his daughter's OYSA State Cup medal, shining brightly, and coming to the realization that he has just wasted the last 4 years of his child's life being coached by rec coaches in a 2nd rate club, with absolutely nothing to show for it but broken dreams. I think I actually feel Pity at this point!
