absolute truth. Onyx has several players who can stop her, and has five players with as much skill if not more than here. The biggest advantage Onyx has is their depth. Their bench can compete with most other team's starters. My DD does not play for either team for the record.

Onyx is like Tiger Woods in his prime, you always watched and you always want him to lose, he never did. Question is can Onyx keep it together over the next couple of years. I would love for My dd's team to be the one that beats Onyx, but i don't see any of the teams in U14 doing it this year. The battle is now for second.

They have plenty of players who are as good as her and it's not very hard to shut her down. If this is the case that they can't compete without her then all other teams who play Copa just need to shut her down and they will win? Hmmm mm, ok~

They could compete without her, she's not that good. The team would survive quite well without her in fact. I've seen her get shut down more often than not against the tougher teams.

Yes because it takes all 11 to play. Fairly easy to shut one or two down. And that is how you beat Copa T/S. Their lack of depth and overall skills can now be seen at this level. Still a good team, as there are others. But to me, Onyx is clearly at a differnt level...due to their depth and the fact that there are just more girls with more talent.

Careful, a lot of us want to go to Hawaii, we ALL may be in the OYSA State Cup. I for one will be pushing for that one.

Hawaii is extremely expensive to go for regionals and it is miserable on the players having to sit in a hotel room.

I think the game against Idaho Rush tells the story on how deep and talented Copa is. That's the game you rested players for the WP game. Final was 1-0 very telling don't under estimate starters and what they provide for the team.

You've got quite the ego there, don't ya?! COPA T/S has played without their main striker, and won without her while she was out with an injury. So, NO, your theory doesn't have much value.

I love how parents get excited about weekend games and who they're playing against. We predict, argue, bring each other down, etc...Silly... There's my daughter couldn't care less about it and is busy just trying to get through the week with school and practice...She just plays when the time comes and forgets about the game the minute she steps in the car on the way home...

Your daughter and my daughter are complete opposites then. My daughter loves soccer with a passion and thinks about it from the time she wakes up til the time she goes to bed. :)

Hahahahaha! I just realized something. It's cool that my daughter is worth all this bickering over! If she weren't on such a talented team and working so hard at honing her skills, no one would give her a second look! Just look at all the attention these girls get on this forum! I'm impressed!

Wow, I would have NEVER commented on this if I were you. You have now truly outed yourself as "that" Sherwood parent that has caused all of the other Sherwood parents so much embarrassment on here...
