ONYX parent here again that just posted. We appreciate the support, but don't need to defend the team on this forum. Our girls do that for us on the field.

While I don't see Onyx falling from the top spot I do see the games getting closer and closer. The talent is starting to consolidate some and teams will continue to get better and better. I think Onyx will have many more close games, a few ties, and probably even a loss or two mixed in. They'll still be the dominate team but will have a few blemishes on their record this year. Next year you'll see it getting even closer and by U16 there will be another team or two who battles them equally.

After speaking to a few of the Onyx parents they tend to feel the same way and they know it won't be easy this year.

And gained one. She was playing up on the Tualatin Rage.

It will help but one player can't make a huge impact against the better teams. Wonder if she'll play fulltime or go back to Rage after Fall.

I'm sure WST will use the player pass whenever necessary. It will be less about developing the bottom players and more about moving around the top players to get the win.

Ask an Onyx parent who should be number 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 I don't think OR Rush gave them much a bother in the State Cup. They were BORED !

WST has told every team they have that they'll move to premier. It's what they do after try-outs to keep the kids. Jaime has been telling that team for years that they'll be premier. The only way they'll be premier is if either A. they add more teams to premier or B. a whole bunch of teams pulled out of premier.

It would not be a smart move on the part of WST. That team needs to develop and learn to play correctly before joining premier. Playing like a bunch of thugs, shoving and cussing people out will only get you so far.

Southside picked up 4 from Lake O....and some from within the club???? Does that mean Aloha pride( whoops sorry) SSC Pride took 4 from Lake O and a few from Stealth,,, this leaving Stealth bare?? Or did Stealth pick up a few from Villa. (OUCH) what really happened.
