And others did not want to go to Stealth and instead left the club altogether.

      So somebody clue me in.

Pride basically kicked butt in division 1 and now is moving up to premeir for U14. Why would girls not want to be on that team or a decent to good division 1 team in stealth?

Or is this just chat room gossip to stir people?

Unfortunately I have no idea what that means.

It would be great if you could spell that out for me. I have no kid at SSC, just a girl going into u14 playing in premeir and wondering if SSC was going to be stronger (if I was that club I would combine stealth and pride).

Doesn't sound like SSC is combining so guessing Pride may be the same team as last year with maybe a couple additions . . . or maybe they lost a couple players. Must not be good at this because I really couldn't understand if Pride is gaining or losing players, but what I have gathered is they (both pride and stealth) will basically be the same teams as in the U13 year.

Pride gained a few from Stealth but lost some to basketball. Pride could of gained a few more from Stealth but those girls prefer to play for the Stealth coach. Pride also gained some from LO. Don't think it will make a huge impact on Pride but should help a little.

The Tualatin HS reference is because the Stealth coach is also the Tualatin HS coach. Some girls like to play for him so they can streamline into Tualatin HS.

Thought there would be more now that there are three Timbers Alliance teams any one know anything?
Did any FC, WUSC or LO boys leave their clubs to join the Westside U13's or U14's?
I heard there might be some jumping ship to move over to a "Timbers" program.....

No known U13 jumpers from FC.

Vancouver Timbers had 90+ at U13B made 5 teams

                    Pride

The girls that Pride did pick up will greatly improve the team, look for a solid Premier team this year. The core group of Pride girls are still around......they play well together. It says a lot about their coach.

I do think Pride will be improved but I have to disagree on the point of saying they play well together. The coach has not done a very good job of developing the players. Size will only get you so far. Possession soccer is what will win the tough games.

I would not expect too many jumpers U14 and below the first year however I would expect a few High School age jumpers in August. Only time will tell what the New name and uni's can do!

That's a lot of teams. Does it include WSA and does it include Select.

U13B was a bust at WSA. It looks like many kids went to VUSA (Vancouver Timbers) now rather than wait for next year's merged tryouts. I think only enough for 1 team at WSA, probably Select. Still, the combined club should easily clear 100 kids at this age group. I think I heard VUSA was doing a Red team (Premier A) and then a Blue and White. Usually Blue is Premier B but this year trying to make them equal. Not sure if you will call them Premier or Select but probably shooting for OPL Division 1 caliber, but not certain. But the last 2 teams at VUSA will certainly be called Select.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the tough Pacific U13B team next year. I am hearing they got stronger this year too. If you can somehow merge those kids into the newly merged club next year, the Premier A and B teams will be stellar, and the A team may compete with best Oregon teams.
