I took my son to THUSC. I was pleasantly surprised. They look like they are getting it together. There was a good vibe around the place. My son is U11 and they had some really good players out there.

Just curious what you mean by getting it together? Is it true that half of the team went to WST? How many boys were there? Sorry to ask so many questions but I am not getting a good vibe with my sons club. Who's the coach?
P.s. how was FC portland tryouts? Any new talent? My son has a negative feeling for the team because he didn't think they were very good. I like what I hear about the coach and club. Would it look bad to come on the 2nd day of tryouts? So far it's been a pretty rough go of classic soccer for my son.

That's what 2nd day try outs are for..... Delayed weekday tryouts and this weekend. Any decent club will let boy/girls know ASAP if the kid don't have a snowballs chance in hell to make the squad. That way you get a chance to find club. You might try Aloha and Thusc, they are trying to get boys programs started. Good Luck.
WSA U11 boys had about 50-60 show up. They will make 1 Premier team and 2 Select teams. The Premier team will be much stronger than the team that played in the Gold division last year.
