    why 'unregistered' ??

Since i am new to this site...i have a question.... why is it that most of you are unregistered/guest? i dont understand it at all! if you are going to provide negative or positive feedback why not register?

I have asked the same thing. All I can think is people what to hide behind the cloak and be negative or nasty without being known.

I have posted before on here thats its easier to ripe something to bits than it is to build something. For me I want to build something sure things arent great in some aspects of the game here but lets work on the positive not the negative.

Glad to hear from someone who has a name cheers mate

I don't post but once, maybe twice a month. I doubt anyone would remember my poster name. It's like a health club you join in January to loose weight, come September you haven't seen the place since May. Anyway, it seems as though posters with names still post under unregistered, anyway. It's the power and truth of what you post, not the name.

Agreed. Now let's close this useless thread, and talk soccer.

                      Eggy is right.

What is the point of posting "fake" names any way? You make the comment about "real" people, etc..

The point made by the registered folks is absolutely true. It is not registering so people will come up to you on the street and congratulate you. It is registering so that your different statements can be linked together, so that you can't post 5 posts in a row and try to pretend they are different people. It is not to say you have to include a personal address with every post, it is merely taking so e ownership of what you say.

I struggle to imagine that folks would make some of the comments they make anonymously if they actually could be linked to their words.

All that said however, I used to be registered, I participated in many conversations. The reason I quit using that login was the amount of abuse and unwarranted insults combined wi people trying to figure out who I was. It was downright creepy as peoe started trying to name my children, and where they played.

I would rather be logged in but until the sewer rats are gone I will choose to remain anonymous.

                              Wow, bitter much?

Personally I haven't seen nearly as many posts from Eggy as we used to have in the begging. Remember when everyone who posted was registered? We had great conversations about which teams were playing well and our interpretation as to why our team wasn't? We would post comparisons between our teams and our opponents and how they matched up. It was great conversation and there was never any harsh words towards a team/coach/club. It was great. But nowadays when some unregistered poster even asks a simple questions they get lambasted, called names and exposed to criticism. Doesn't matter what team/club you play for you get ran through the ringer. No fun any more I'm afraid.
