      Not counting OYSA teams

I know the jamboree doesn't have he quality of competition the OPL has, however there are several quality teams participating to get to the "real" regionals that would have to be considered in the calc.

      CFC u13b
      WSM u13b
      WUSC u14b
      CFC u15b
      Rush u15b
      WSM u17g (or maybe 18's - Fury)
      WSM u18b Premier

There may be others, sorry for leaving any out, I don't know all the teams in all the divisions.

      Just saying : )

Thanks for the post! What's interesting is that FC and ESUFC normally have good numbers in the semi's but don't pull off many titles. Hope that changes this year for FC.

VUSA doesn't irritate anyone. The Vancouver parents on the other hand....

Lake Oswego and Southside have had a pretty poor year I would say. Also given OSSA's advantage of pooling players, is this a good result? What has happened over there? Also THUSC seems to be having a down year. FC has come back.

THUSC sucked until they got Ireland. The cycle is already beginning to repeat. They win off of recruiting, not developing. Their end will come back around like it was 4 or so years ago.

FC is a solid program, they will have off years compared to what they're capable of, but all-in-all a very consistent program.

OSSA is a joke. Southside is failing, LO is only girls, OSA ends at u12, and WUSC is a glorified rec program with 1 maybe 2 teams. When you combine all of that you get OSSA, a large group of players with mediocre development and more attitude than skill on the coaching staff.

WSM is very strong on the boys. Weak on the girls, when compared to the other top 3-4 clubs, but show little improvements in the right direction. Still a boys club.

PCU is very good at what they offer. They're not selling any premier program, and they're delivering. Great new facilities and club room.

We don't have any elite clubs all around, but we do have a few clubs that are strong in areas.

I still believe that you need to follow the coach and the players, not the club. Each club has moments of brilliance. Just do your research

Wow way to show your true colors WSM parent. I would dare to say FC Portland parent but I think the obvious hatred towards THUSC points us in the WSM direction.

THUSC was just fine before Ireland. Ever hear of a little team called Neon? Sapphire was a decent team at the time and you still had Sodium, Iridium, Onyx, and Zirconium all of who were doing just fine pre-Ireland and are still doing very well. Not sure how they're falling off when they had teams from U12, U13, U14, U16, and U17 in the semi's again. You win some and you lose some. The U14 and U17 teams were favored to win and would probably win if they played again. Just so happens that ESU and FC came to play and took care of business on that day.

FC Portland is a good all around club but usually falls somewhere right in the middle when it comes to teams. I would say it is the best overall club out there though.

WSM is strictly boys and if anything have headed in the wrong direction when it comes to the girls. They need better coaching and maybe more than 1 coach to coach 5 teams. Not to mention too many daddy coaches out there.

OSSA was a great idea for the kids. It fills its purpose very well and makes soccer in Oregon more competitive.

BSC does try to promote themselves as a top club but they're just not there. They have an occasional team that does well but it never lasts.

Not much has changed over the past few years. Top girls clubs are still FC, THUSC, and OSSA. Top boys clubs are WSM, ESU, and FC.

Don't forget THUSC had 4 in the NWCL finals, including one champion (Onyx).

That was then, this is now. But keep beating that drum and saying THUSC is the best.
