I am not the original responder, but, I also clicked in here yesterday and had the result spoiled for me. I except the apology (I am not sure about the other poster).

I am glad that I did not let your spoiler deter me from watching the replay last night. That was an amazing match and one every fan and player should look for in future replay. Those who did not see it, look for it in replay on Fox Soccer.

Barca put on their usual clinic in passing and control. Chelsea put on a clinic in team defense and playing down. Cech showed why many consider him the world's best keeper. I really think Barca's downfall was their unwillingness to deviate from their game plan. At some point, against a packed in defense, you have to strike it from distance, don't you? By the way, isn't it time to strip the "Interim" from DiMatteo's title and make him the permanent coach?

I think in this day and age that anyone who wants to record a game for later viewing is kidding himself/herself if they think it won't come out in one form or another. If it's going to upset you so much to find out in advance, lock yourself in your office, stay off the net, and don't listen to the radio or tv. I appreciate the enthusiasm. No need to be an a-hole about it.

I agree 100%. I hate spoilers too, but I can't feel sorry for someone wasting time at work on Talking-soccer Oregon forums. :)

Umm. You have issues if you think that in visiting a soccer forum you have no chance of learning the such a surprising and huge result. You are the one that needs to pull your head out. Or at least control your anger a little bit. Good grief.

Agree. It's kind of funny, actually. During March Madness, I did just this (secluded myself, that is) in order to avoid getting the results of a game that I planned on watching later. Didn't even answer the phone, but with a half hour to go before viewing time, I got a text that gave away the result in the header. After I screamed, it brought a big smile to my face. It happens. Quite frankly, I love the fact that someone is so enthusiastic about a game or team (especially soccer) that they feel the need to tell it to whomever will listen. Just don't burn anything down!
