I am predicting East side Red vs. Eugene for the final state cup match.

I agree with Eastside, but I think it will be FC instead of Eugene.
FC will beat Eugene 1-0 in the semi's

Come on now. I originally predicted HR over WSM but I do not think it will be easy for Hood River just that I do think they are a little stronger than WSM.

WSM beat OSA yesterday and that's all that matters.

Hood River and FC basically tied in their bracket.
Hood River beat FC in penalty kicks. FC choked.

The Hood River v. WSM team will be good.

WSM defense may be a little shaky on defense, but the coach has switched up the offensive line and they are scoring more each game than they did all Spring league.

Hood River is consistent and works well together.

I have to say we actually have a good group of parents that comment within the U14B pages.

Sure we heckle each other, but I don't think we go over the top as say some of the other groups.

I am not the one that you replied to but your comment about responding without name calling got me thinking.

Eastside is probably the best rounded team, FC plays fantastic defense but they lack scoring. If they can find a way to get some goals they will be dangerous.

hmm... FC could use two players from WSM to actually compete with Eastside in my opinion. I will take one striker and one mid player from WSM. Just a thought!! haha.. hope I am not causing too much trouble here...

You're not, but brace yourself, FC is going to lose players to WSM soon only strengthening WSM at the U-15 level.

The WSM Timbers brand isn't something FC can compete with right now. U15-U18 is when it gets very competitive. Expect FC to lose mids and defensive players, this will tighten up the backside of WSM and they are offensively dangerous.

Eastside will be no competition for WSM at U-15.

Gresham is too far for many, thus, WSM will be the better option. Word has it that a few from FC are definitely making their way over......it'll be a strong team.

I doubt that is true. Kids travel from Medford, Vancouver, Salem, and Eugene all the time to play on competitive teams. I doubt Gresham would suddenly be too far. Just another WSM parent or coach doing what they always do this time of year..................spread rumors to make it seem like everyone is interested in WSM!

What do you mean by EMFC? The U14 is all Eugene players?

I would agree that players would travel to be on a top 4 team if there wasn't a big gap between 1-4. However at the U14B there is a big gap; you have the top 3 teams that I could see players wanting to join. I couldn't see any player living in Salem to Portland traveling to be on Eugene (I could be wrong they may have someone doing that, I don't know).
