I guess what I am saying is that yes Willamette will have to get USYSA cards for their OYSA tournament. However they already have US Club cards to play in OPL league.

Willamette would have to release their US Club cards for them to play for OSA.

You are correct that they are combining next year.

Have you heard which players from Willamette are going to play for OSA; without using player names?

Too bad they didnt do that for their U14 girls team as well. Here you have a group of girls that have no team (too many injured or sick) and no place to play now til tryouts.

Too bad WUSC didnt get their heads out before it was too late for all their stranded players.

While these girls are out of luck for state cup, they could easily jump on one of the other OSSA clubs (OSA, SSC or LO) for summer tournaments. There are 5 teams between those clubs so I am sure there is spot for most of those WUSC girls to play this summer before tryouts. It is just a matter of figuring out which team is the best fit and getting in touch with the coach.

For that matter, I'm sure there's a spot on any of the other club teams.

Wake up, the only team that Willamette places any emphasis on is WUSC U14 Boys... Good Luck.

Just saying if they wanna win they need players that can finsh it for example #99 and #18 on Eugene they need to be on the field scoring goals like they know how to! Not on the bench! Not trying to tell the coach what to do but thats the true!

I think Eastside can beat every team. I think that FC will give them a good run. But if Eastside comes to play they should be State Champions again.

I hesitate..... and apologize for writing this as I know this is for U14B. ( I am not trying to hijack the thread.)

BUT I am curious, if a group of girls wanted to play, but the team had too many injuries, why didnt they play OYSA state cup and go pick up girls from around the area that were playing OPL state cup? Isn't that area thick with players? Ill be happy to talk about it more if someone wants to start another thread..

Eastside is expected to win the OPL state cup since WUSC is on the other side.

Eastside - Overall good players with good defenders.
FC - No strikers with OK Mid players. Worthy opponent for Eastside!
EUSC - Good defenders and wingers. Might surprise Eastside for an upset!
OSA - No mid or defenders but has OK strikers
WSM - Good mids and strikers. Has weakest defenders of all teams and too many "wannabe" players

Good luck on your team! GO TIMBERS!!

Eugene wins 4-0 (1st game of State Cup) Lake Oswego didn't have a chance
FC Portland wins 2-1 against PCU.....

As predicted, Eugene and FC Portland should win their brackets and move on.

                              More games today..

Hahahahahahah so hilarious # 18 comes from the Bench to score 2 goals in the Second half As a Lake Oswego parent just saying # 18 is a key for that team
