Just thoughts, it seems as if fcsc's commitment to there teams has deminished except for the girls u11. If you go to the web page there are stories are about joe, Tina and a u11 girls team. Is this because it's joes daughter and granddaughter are there? What about all the other teams? I suggest you pull it till you can put something up about several teams. If joes not careful he's is going to keep losing players and coaches and there will be no more FCSC. You can not even get anyone from the club to respond to you. FCSC is going down hill, quick. This is a shame because they have and have had a lot of talent there. Joe you better start thinking about all the teams or there will be none. I know I am questioning my commitment to FCSC now.

Relax, I don't think FCSC is the problem. I think Victor getting fired from Salmon Creek was the best thing to wipe the slate clean. They have some good players there at U-11 and as long as they start with that and move on they will be ok.Originally posted by Unregistered View Post

This has nothing to do with victor. This is the steady dimise of a club. Joe better get his crap together. There better be some tallet at these kick arounds or people are going to walk. There better be some improvements made to this club and not just lip service. I would start with promoting the club as a whole and not just his daughters and granddaughters teams. There is a whole club of teams and he should be highlighting all of them to make the club look better and show that there is a lot of talent there. The club has to grow, or it wil be eaten by the bigger fish. We all know that a few players one way or another can make or brake a team, and we need to attract more talent to help with the existing talent already there. The rec and select will follow, when FCSC can show force vs all clubs. just saying you have to keep what you have. Look at that whole 99 team, the whole team, gone. Not to 1 club but scattered, never comming back, none of them. Now rumors of the 98's, I hear several key players, thinking of a change. Is there even a u14 premier team? U15 I hear some them are looking at options. What's going to be left. The players at the premier level want to play the top tournaments, college showcases, mustang, surf, nwcl, etc, etc. the way FCSC is headed they will not have the players or commitment to play these venues. So really is FCSC doing these kids any justice in keeping them there when it could really make it hard for them in the future. My question to FCSC is what is the plan for the premier teams at u14 and higher when everyone else is playing the big venues and FCSC is playing state cups, nwcl, etc, etc. would it not be better to get the talent in one place a have them play together. The way things look, the VUSA/WSA merger is a good start. Why would FCSC not work on the select/rec front and push the premier over to the new merger club? do what's right for the kids, have some ethics, It should not be about the money. FCSC knows what's right, if they feel that they can do right by the kids at this level, then show it. The topic is appropriate as the stories from that club are all similar. The approach SC is taking to make its club desirable is to highlight the one desirable thing they have Tina. Unfortunately the down fall to this is that she can't be everywhere and do everything. They have to start showing care for the other teams at the club...cricket...cricket....cricket....
