    Women's College Spring Games

Someone posted a month or so ago that women's college Spring games were worth attending. This is when coaches get a good feel for players to take the place of departing seniors, try out different positioning, etc. Very good soccer. I believe that they are free.

4/7 UP v. PSU at UP, noon
4/14 UO v. OSU at OSU, new intramural fields just n.football stadium & basketball arena
---- 11 am, takes about 90 minutes from Portland driving.
----OSU v. Trinity Western (Canada) at OSU, 4 pm, intramural fields
    ----UP v. Seattle-Pacific at UP, 2 pm
4/15 UO v. Trinity Western at OSU, 11 am, intramural fields
4/21 UP v. OSU at UP, 2 pm
    4/22 UO v. St. Martin's at Concordia, 12 noon
----UO v. Concordia at Concordia, 6 pm
4/28 OSU v. Humboldt at OSU, 11 am, intramural fields
----OSU v. Southern Oregon at OSU, 4 pm, intramural fields
----UO v. UP at UP, 2 pm
5/5 OSU v. UW at UW, 5:30 pm
----UO v. PSU at PSU, 2 pm
5/6 OSU v. Vancouver Whitecaps at Newport HS, Bellevue, WA, at 1 pm

If you have a girl player, try to attend some of these games. They help with tactics, speed of play, and motivation. This information came from various websites, postings, and my neighbor.

Keep in mind game time and location change often for Spring games so you may want to double check before going to any games.

We went to UP once last year for a game and found out the game was moved to Nike.
