Ok, a little later than some people wished for OPL. OYSA still has no schedules posted for their jamboree.

But lets be real here. Can a competition with 3 teams or less at an age group be called a tournament? Isn't that more like a jamboree? What is difficult about getting out a schedule for that? Maybe it is that right now, even the few OPL teams of any merit that are participating are technically not eligible until they play a "qualifying league/tournament". So why is there not schedules available for that?
Admittedly, the entire mess is a sorry state of affairs.........for both sides!
Fix this mess.

Surf Cup, USYS Regionals or US Club Nationals? I think the overall experience would go to Surf Cup and that is where the best teams go now. OPL doesn't need USYS there is enough talent in OPL to make due without. Sorry doesn't work the other way for OYSA. Glad my daughter has only year and half left and on to the next big thing.

Honestly the whole qualifying tournament is an unfortunate necessity. It is necessary because the requirements of USYS state that teams participating in State cup must be sanctned teams. It is necessary because of the stupid war we have had between OYSA, and OPL, If OPL had not pulled their last second hissy fit like withdrawal, I suspect everything would be much smoother.
Now however OYSA is left to improvise, and the OPL legions are trying to paint the situation as somehow showing the inadequacy of State Cup.
I not sure if people are aware of how infantile the argument sounds that "State Cup is not good this year, because my team isn't participating. We are food good to participate in such a silly tournament"
Get over yourselves people. You talk about developing your children, which is the ultimate goal right, but your attitude will cripple them.
...I'm not going to apply to that school, because I am so good, and they should only dream to have me.
...I'm not going to apply for a job there, because I am so good, and they should only dream to have me.

When is OYSA going to post their schedules for State Cup? Can't tell me it's all that difficult.
