With all the uppity to-do with the OPC and OYSA State Cup about players being allowed to play in the OYSA Sate Cup, how does this impact the Timbers Alliance clubs and them not permitting their players to play in high school soccer?

High schools are not under the umbrella of USSF, their under OSAA

I'm not a lawyer but the USSF law exempts professional organizations. If your son wants the free ride for the DA he is then considered the PROPERTY of the Timbers. If however he/you pay the bill then he is an amateur and I guess would fall under this rule but I would imagine that the MLS teams would argue that ownership and team membership are the same.

No only the players on the Timbers DA teams would fall outside the rule. Members of the chosen three would still be governed by USSF rules.

Referees for high school are not under USSF either. OSAA has their own set of rules, hand signals, training, and evaluation procedures.
