Ask for an elite program, then cry when a program actually tries to accomplish this.

Most people on this forum have no idea what they truly want. It's a bunch of theories, ideas, and fantasies without much sense of reality.

Get a clue. A strong program, like the one most people on this forum are asking for, WILL come at the expense of other programs!

So where is the balance? Westside/OPL/Timbers trying to improve and consolidate soccer using various clubs and fields including THPRD. How does that help the players in district that are short on fields and are the taxpayers paying for this? When are they going to be able to use the fields?

Well if the district up there used public money and its primarily benefit a private individual or group and someone wants to challenge it. We've got a real good lawyer we can recommend to them.

We'd be happy to have major soccer here in OR we just dont want $900,000 of money that should go to our kids going to a Billionaires son...

You have missed the mark greatly if you think that Denny Doyle has had any part of the foul play.

If there is any one thing that I would defend, it would be Denny Doyle. He has done incredible things for the community and all of the local soccer, not just WSM.

Timbers are businessmen and taking advantage of the money opportunity - not defending nor supporting

Bill Kanable could be trying to do good, but his disclosure has shot himself in the foot. He's in trouble until he shares all that he actually does.

WSM should lose their affiliate standing with THPRD. How can they retain such standing considering their innapropriate and abusive behavior in the area.

Well here's the "beef' with Denny

If you look at the tax returns he made 45k a year for several years from WSM...

Ok maybe its legitimate ... Maybe its 1000% legitimate, legal. ethically OKIE DOKIE!!!

But then he stops taking it... OK maybe nothing there... He just didnt have the time anymore to do both jobs... or he just thought it may not look right whatever the reason maybe it was perfectly good/legal/ethical..

But on WSM's tax returns the salary expenses to "non key employees non key personnel etc is suddenly about 150k of unexplained goodness the year he decides to drop out/quit...

All I need to hear from Denny is I do not and have not received any money from WSM and I haven't formed or have an interest in any business that does... oh and neither did my Wife Son Daughter Cousin Lou Aunt Erma whatever suddenly go on WSM's payroll

If that's the case then we're good... I think ... anyone else have any issues with Denny?

That would be very unfortunate. Perceptions of this situation are poor. I wish you could spend a week working along side of Bill to understand what really happens.

So unfortunate that so many conclusions have been made with such poor judgement.

If Bill is removed, I guarantee you that the situation will not be improved, but worsen. Best of luck. I'm sorry that you have chosen this route.

1) Give a full disclosure of your activities

2) Resign from THJSL as its just a basic conflict of interest to be on the Board of THPRD and THJSL and allocating fields..

3) If you want to remain on the THPRD board then you should probably resign from WSM/WSW again perception of conflict of interest.

4) Commit to the FACT that the artificial turf fields should be allocated in a transparent, fair & equitable manner and YES that means WSM is going to lose artificial turf time... Sorry they don't get 70-80-90 percent of the time when bigger clubs want access..

That would be a good start and would go a LONG way towards diffusing this situation...

THPRD is ultimately accountable to disclose how they allocate our publicly funded fields to these private companies. Are they not doing this? Isn't there a published policy on how THPRD allocates fields? It's not just about soccer. What about lacrosse, football and all the other sports wanting to use these fields?

Bill I would suggest then that you
1) Give a full disclosure of your activities
