Yes true colors are coming out for sure... It's called Timbers red&white. No more blue. And btw their relationship w/ THPRD is very good. They're sitting pretty in view of the changing soccer landscape in Oregon. looks like the board, JB, & Cony had the vision to adapt. Obviously doesn't sit well with all the haters, which always will be there. 😊

This idiot represents a rec club that is whining because his club wants more field time at more locations. He made false accusations at the THPRD meeting. When THPRD told him he was out of line and misinformed they suggested that he bring it up at the the rec meeting. He did, and he was proven wrong there too. He is drawing many assumptions and you know what happens with assumptions...

Legally, he is treading on dangerous ground, trying to accuse a club, a park district, and the rec league, and two honest persons, of illegal acts. Keep it up. Your club does not deserve you representing them and ruining their reputation. I know what he did because I read the THPRD minutes and attended the THJSL meeting.

I have been involved in youth soccer (Somerset West, Milltown, and Westside Warriors, as well as FC Portland and Westside Metros) for well over twenty years now. Fields for all groups has always been an issue. You know very well that clubs must provide fields when they apply for leagues. You are accusing certain people of manipulating field use, yet you conveniently forget that it is your club's responsibility to give a list and dates of fields. A rec club hosts a spring league and you have the option to play in it and bring your fields with you. The THJSL coordinator can only assign what it allocated to THJSL through THPRD, including fields through their relationship with schools. This is the same as it has always been for my twenty years of kids and grandkids in the games.

FYI, when you whine at a meeting that your teams have to share a field for practices, know that the majority of rec and classic teams everywhere are in the same predicament, and have been so since I can remember. It is even worse now as youth soccer (rec and classic) shares field use with high school rec/classic/school soccer, football, baseball, lacrosse, and adult sports.
