    Again, just be prepared as you will be finding a soccer world that is VERY different from Dallas. Not all of that is bad, but some of it is and you should really lower your expectations or you will be disappointed. And be prepared to travel to find consistent good competition. There are good teams here, but they are fewer in numbers. And the good players are much less concentrated than Dallas. Coaches here don't recruit like they do there so you can end up with one or two very good teams and a handful of teams that are a couple notches below that and then it falls off.

    And get used to I-5 between Vancouver and Seattle. You will be driving it often I suspect.

    When I lived in Texas I found the soccer to be sub par. Much weaker than around here. I am thankful that we moved here where my kids soccer opportunities increased 2 fold.
