Sounders announce youth club team tryouts March 1, 2

Sounders FC have announced tryout dates for youth players hoping to land spots on the MLS club’s non-academy teams.
These youth club teams are run to prepare players for the following season in the USSDA.
Sounders FC will be hosting tryouts on March 1st and March 2nd at Starfire Sports Complex in Tukwila for two boys club teams that will operate this year. The age groups for these teams are U15 (1997 birth year and below) and U17 (1995 birth year and below).
These two teams will operate as training and developmental teams to prepare players for the following year in the US Soccer Development Academy. The game schedule will be released at a later date.
These tryouts are not for US Soccer Development Academy teams. The tryouts for the U16 and U18 Sounders FC Academy teams will occur in July following the Academy season.

The intent of the U15 and U17 Sounders FC Club teams is to further develop players through the US Soccer curriculum with training as the emphasis and games as appropriate.
