Spring Break ID camp (college showcase)

If you are interested in taking advantage of an additional college recruiting opportunity in the NW, you might take a look at this one. It is scheduled for the weekend of March 31st-April 1st.

(full details can be found at www.rivercitysoccercamps.com)

Our showcase pulls in athletes from all over the Western United States, including Alaska, Montana, Colorado, Utah, California, Arizona, and Hawaii. Which means your athlete will not be competing against the same set of Oregon players they do every weekend.

Below is a description of our event.
    __________________________________________________ _________________________
Our College Showcase is a unique opportunity for individual players, with dreams of playing at the next level, to participate in combine-style showcase. Instead of trying to get noticed during tournaments that involve dozens of clubs and hundreds of players, our Showcase creates an environment where each player is guaranteed numerous touches and plenty of time on the ball. Players will participate in a series of small-sided games and technical drills while being evaluated and observed by college coaches from around the area.

Our goal is to maximize the number of touches each player will get during our Showcase so no one gets lost on the field as can happen at big club tournaments. Instead, players are given the extraordinary opportunity to truly showcase their skills in front of local college coaches.

Additionally, we believe that KNOWLEDGE is POWER. Therefore we put a huge emphasis on understanding the recruiting process, the rules, and equipping both parents and athletes with the tools to be successful. That is why our event also includes seminars and workshops prior to the actual Showcase event.

No, they do not. It is an opportunity for players that believe they have the individual skill to compete at the collegiate level (junior college on up) to compete against other athletes and get evaluated by college coaches.
