    Next Years Coaches

So I can find all the coaches for the THUSC, FC, OSA but I can not find the coaches for WSM U13 girls can any one let us know? Looking to finalize tryouts for our DD and want to see who the coaching staff is prior to.

    Comment

The Eugene coach is head and shoulders better than the rest of the coaches in this age group. It's not even close.

Rumor from a WSM parent is that it's Danny Barlow.

Trying out for four teams, now that is what I call ambitious.

I know who's posting this and I assure you it's not an EMFC parent.

For a while you had me fooled that maybe a Eugene parent was posting this nonsense but it is now obvious you are NOT a Eugene supporter. Joke's over, please stop.

Please describe why he is better. THUSC coach has done a lot with this team - NWCL 2nd place, Fall League 2nd Place, tournament wins last summer? FC coach has similar credentials - LO has brought a team from the mid pack to be a contender?

Lets get back to talking soccer!

Two biggest games of the weekend:

RVSC vs EMFC - EMFC with a 3-1 win
FC PDX vs THUSC - I say 1-1 tie - THUSC in PK's
Take out the DOC title, and you can see that his credential are still much better then the other coaches.

So if the THUSC team is so great then why is he not going to be their coach next year?

The first coach has a great "puff" piece that hardly seems necessary given his fine credentials. Note the "in 2011" reference. I didn't see any State Cup championships, perhaps there were. The second coach has acceptable credentials, no puffery. Still doesn't remotely tell us who is the better youth soccer coach. P.S.: Being a high school coach in Oregon is a strike against most any coach, given the level of play.

A coach on paper can look really good but that doesn't means he/she is a good coach. Not sure why you're trying to hype him up so much. Are you related to him?

Really? First you implicate this coach and now his family...what's wrong with you?
